Using these terms
These terms apply when you use Review Scoreboard at reviewscoreboard.com, whether you sign up as a business owner or open a teammate's review page. By using the service you agree to them. If you are using it for a business, you agree on that business's behalf.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18 and able to form a contract. If you add teammates, you confirm you are allowed to hold and use their names for this purpose, and that you will tell them their personal QR code is being shared with customers.
Plans and limits
Review Scoreboard is free to use for teams of up to 50 employees. Larger teams can move to Pro ($149 per month for 51 to 200 employees) or Enterprise ($499 per month for 201 or more employees).
- There is no payment form in the app today. Upgrades are arranged with our support team through the WhatsApp button, so nothing charges automatically.
- Plan limits apply to the number of active employees in your workspace.
- We may change prices or plan limits with reasonable notice; a plan you have already agreed to keep stays as agreed until its next renewal.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details accurate and your password private, and tell us quickly if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your login, so please do not share credentials. One workspace belongs to one business; if you run several brands, add them as locations or open a separate workspace.
Google's rules are part of these terms
The service exists to earn honest reviews, and Google's policies apply to everything you do with it. By using Review Scoreboard you agree not to:
- Offer customers money, discounts, free items or any incentive for leaving a review.
- Filter unhappy customers away from Google. On our pages the public Google review link is always visible, whatever rating is chosen, and you must not hide or remove it.
- Write reviews yourself, pay for reviews, or ask staff, friends or family to post reviews for your business.
- Ask customers to post reviews on a specific page, keyword or competitor comparison.
- Bulk message customers pressuring them to review, or use the codes on unrelated strangers.
Google decides which reviews appear and may remove them. Nothing here guarantees a review will be published or that your rating will rise.
Google permissions and Google data
Connecting Google is optional. When you do, Review Scoreboard asks for a single Google permission, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage, and uses it only to read the Business Profile locations your Google account manages and the reviews on those locations, so your scoreboard can show reviews that were actually posted.
We store those reviews (text, reviewer display name, star rating, publish date and location) in your private workspace so they can be shown on your scoreboard and matched to the review tap that produced them. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it or share it with data brokers, and we do not use the permission for anything beyond those reads.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
You may only connect a Business Profile you own or manage. You can disconnect Google at any time from Settings, which stops our access and leads to deletion of the stored reviews, and you can revoke our access yourself at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Fair use of the service
Please do not scrape or bulk-download the pages, copy or resell the service without our permission, reverse engineer it, upload harmful code, use it for anything unlawful, or try to break the limits that keep the customer pages and the draft generator from being abused.
Your content
The names, locations, links and notes you add stay yours. You give us permission to store and display them only so we can provide the service, and we can stop the moment you delete them. You are responsible for having the right to submit the material you add, including employee details.
Customer reviews and feedback
Customers own their own words. A review a customer posts on Google belongs to that customer and to Google, not to you or to us. The private feedback a customer sends through a 1 to 3 star page is shared with you so you can put things right; treat it respectfully and do not try to identify or contact a customer who did not leave their details.
What the numbers do and do not mean
Google does not tell other websites when a review has been published, so the dashboard counts review taps: each time a customer taps "Copy and open Google" from a teammate's page. A review tap means someone was sent to Google to write a review. It is not proof that a review was posted, and you should not present it as such. You can add, edit, verify or delete entries yourself in the dashboard, and anything you add by hand is marked as added by you.
Suggested review drafts
The friendly drafts shown to customers are suggestions written from details you supplied, such as your city and the tags you chose. They are not verified statements of fact. Customers should keep them honest and in their own words, and neither we nor you should rely on a draft as a description of what actually happened.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service running, but it is provided without an uptime guarantee and may be paused for maintenance or withdrawn. We may add, change or remove features, including on the free plan, with reasonable notice where the change matters to you.
Ending your use
You can stop at any time; there is no lock-in and no cancellation fee. We may warn, suspend or close a workspace that breaks these terms, creates legal risk, abuses the service, or leaves an agreed upgrade unpaid. Where we can, we give you a chance to put things right first.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise results, specific review counts, or continued access to third-party services such as Google.
Liability
We are not liable for lost profits, lost reviews, lost rankings or business interruption. Where we are liable for something else, our total responsibility is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months or USD 100. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts there have jurisdiction over any dispute. If your business is based elsewhere, tell us through the support button and we will confirm what applies to you.
